Prairie Poppy Mallow. A low-growing perennial which has a carrot-like tap-root, giving rise to a ground-hugging mat of five-fingered leaves. From late spring to midsummer, brilliant, showy, silky cups of cerise or purplish-red with white centres are borne.
Grow in well-drained, sandy, loam soil in full sun. It will reach a height and spread of 30cm.
