Cedar of Lebanon. A conical tree when young which matures to a flat topped tree with wide-spreading branches. The foliage is dark green to grey-green in colour. The bark has scaly fissures and ridges and is black or brown in colour.

Grow in a sunny, open site in any well-drained soil, including chalk soils. It will reach a height and spread of up to 30m.
