Winter Aconite. A tuberous perennial that heralds the arrival of spring. It has cup-shaped, upward-facing, bright yellow flowers, typically blooming in late winter before the crocuses. Each flower is surrounded by a collar of divided, leafy bracts.
Grow in full sun to partial shade in well-drained, fertile soil. It thrives in woodland settings and can naturalise in grassy areas. It will reach a height of 10cm and a spread of 10-15cm.
