Eucalyptus pauciflora ssp. niphophila
Alpine Snow Gum. A tree with whitish grey bark shed annually in late summer, leaves grey-green when young followed by blue-green, adult leaves. Umbels of white to cream flowers are borne from April to July.
Grow in neutral to slightly acidic soil which doesn’t dry out in full sun. Shelter from drying, cold winds. Keep the tree hard pruned in late winter to keep the rounded juvenile foliage. It will reach a height of 4-8m and a spread of 2.5-4m.
