Festuca glauca

Blue Fescue. Grey Fescue. Small cushions of very fine, inrolled, ice-blue leaves which become green in winter. In May and June upright stems which bear narrow, bristly, blue-green flower plumes to 5cm long which turn light brown are borne.

Grow in an exposed, dry location in well drained light soil. It will reach a height and spread of 40cm.
