Spring Starflower. A bulbous perennial which has narrow, grass-like, dark green leaves that grows in a clump and emits a mild onion-like scent when crushed. From March to April, star-shaped, pure white flowers are borne on slender, upright stems. The flowers open during the day and close at night.
Grow in full sun to partial shade in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil that does not dry out. It will reach a height of 15-20cm and a spread of 5-10cm.
