One of those reliable old favourite varieties that Grandad grew to produce an excellent crop of tasty, thick, short solid white stems with broad dark flags through the winter (Oct- Mar). also if Harvested young, as baby leeks, these have a fantastically sweet flavour which doesn’t falter if they are left to mature.
