Grow in moderately fertile, preferably acid soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 1.2m and a spread of 50cm.

Switch Grass. An upright, deciduous perennial grass which forms clumps of flat, linear, arching, blue-green leaves which turn yellow in autumn. In early autumn weeping panicles of tiny, blue-green flowers are borne.
Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 1.5m and a spread of 1m.
Tufted Hair Grass. A dense, tussock-forming, evergreen grass of compact habit which has rigid, linear, rough, mid-green leaves.. From June to August silvery, reddish-brown flower spikes which age to golden yellow are borne.
Grow in dry to damp, neutral to acid soil in sun or partial shade. It will reach a height and spread of 75cm.
A slowly spreading, perennial grass which forms loose clumps of flat linear, mid-green leaves, which quickly turn deep blood-red. In late summer, narrow, spike-like panicles of fluffy, silvery white spikelets are borne.
Grow in a sunny position in well-drained fertile soil with plenty of moisture. It will reach a height of 40cm and a spread of 30cm or more.
