Description

Oenothera macrocarpa

A vigorous perennial which has trailing, hairy, often red tinted stems which have lance shaped to ovate, toothed, pale to mid green leaves. From late spring to early autumn a long succession of solitary, cup shaped, bright golden yellow flowers are borne.

Grow in poor to moderately fertile, well drained, even stony soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 15cm and a spread of up to 50cm.
