Panicum virgatum ‘Warrior’

Switch Grass. An upright, deciduous perennial grass which forms clumps of flat, linear, arching, green leaves which are touched with purple. From August to September weeping panicles of tiny, purple flowers are borne.

Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 1.2m and a spread of 1m.
