Papaver orientale ‘Central Park’
Oriental Poppy. A clump-forming perennial which has erect, white-bristly stems and pinnatisect mid-green leaves. In June and July, large cup-shaped, solitary, satiny, lavender-purple flowers with dark purple basal spots are borne.
Grow in deep, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height and spread of 60cm.
