Description

Pittosporum tenuifolium

Large evergreen shrub to small tree with black stems and wavy dark glossy mid-green leaves. Small, bell-shaped, honey scented chocolate-purple flowers are borne in late spring and early summer these are followed by grey-black capsules.

Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 4-10m and a spread of 2-5m.
