Sargent Cherry. A spreading tree with elliptic, tapered, dark green leaves which are red when young and turn brilliant orange-red in autumn. Bowl-shaped, pale pink flowers are borne in mid-spring which are followed by ovoid, cherry-like, glossy crimson fruit. Deciduous.

Grow in moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of up to 20m and a spread of 15m.
