Salvia gauranitica ‘Blue Enigma’
A subshrubby perennial which has branched, dark green stems and ovate, pointed, slightly toothed, hairy, wrinkled, mid-green leaves. Fragrant, deep blue flowers with bright green calyces are borne from July to September.
Grow in light, moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or light dappled shade. Mulch in winter to protect it from frost. It will reach a height of 150cm and a spread of 90cm.
