Description
Salvia x superba
A clump-forming, erect, branched perennial which has lance-shaped to oblong, mid-green leaves. From midsummer to early autumn, bright violet flowers and purple bracts are borne in terminal racemes.
Grow in light, moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or light dappled shade. It will reach a height of 60-90cm and a spread of 45-60cm.
