A robust, clump forming perennial which has broad, hairy, lance-shaped deep green leaves. From May to June, clusters of bell-shaped flowers that are a striking deep blue to purple in colour are borne, which hang delicately from arching stems.

Grow in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height and spread of 45cm
