A superb heirloom indeterminate variety. The darkest tomato variety available and a nutritional powerhouse, being packed with anthocyanin – the same antioxidant as in blackberries and blueberries. The meaty, rich-fleshed fruit have a smooth, well-balanced and savoury flavour with earthy undertones. Like all anthocyanin tomatoes, the more direct, unobscured light received, the darker the ripe product. Tomatoes will be truly ripe when the shaded base starts to blush. Grow as a cordon pinching out side-shoots. Height 2m
