£31.25Also know as ‘King of the Pippins’. A medium sized apple which has a greenish yellow-gold skin with an orange/red flush, and marked with a little rough brown russet. It is a firm, crisp, juicy, and sugary apple which has white flesh with a yellowish tinge. Picks in late August to early September. If cooked it will keep its shape and colour. Can also be used for cider. (UK, 19th Century). Flowering Group 3.
