£3.00An improved Supremo Nano type, this dwarf Borlotto variety produces a heavy crop of colourful pink and white speckled pods with matching beans. Good vigour even in unfavourable conditions; early to mature and does well in containers. Once Borlotti Beans are cooked, they go a light-brown colour but the creamy texture makes for a homegrown delight particularly as fresh borlotti beans are almost impossible to buy fresh because they begin to harden after 7 days. The beans can be allowed to harden off and will store well for use later in an airtight container. Plant spacing 25 x 75cm. Harvest from July onwards.
