Acer davidii ‘George Forrest’
Snake-bark Maple. A broadly upright, deciduous tree with green, brown and white striped bark and arching branches bearing ovate, shallowly-lobed, mid- to dark green leaves turning dull orange in autumn. Pendent racemes of pale yellow flowers are borne in spring which are followed by pink-brown fruit in autumn. Deciduous.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 10m and a spread of 15m.
