Alnus glutinosa

Common Alder. A small to medium sized broadly conical tree which has dark green leaves. Yellow catkins are produced in late winter or early spring. Deciduous.

They will thrive in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 25m and a spread of 10m.
