Apple ‘Ellison’s Orange’
A medium-sized apple which has a bright brownish orange red flush and broken broad stripes over light greenish yellow skin. The pale creamy white, tinged green flesh is somewhat soft, juicy, little sweet, and a little acid, with a rich aniseed flavour. Its season of use is from September to October. (Lincoln 1904) Flowering Group 4.
