A medium-sized apple which has a deep pinky crimson flush and some darker stripes over pale yellow skin. The flesh is similar in taste to Cox with its good balance of sugar and acidity, the taste is claimed to be similar to Parma violet sweets. Pick in mid-October. Its season of use is from November to January. (New Zealand 1924) Flowering Group 3.

Containerised Trees are supplied from September to August. Bare Root Trees are supplied from November to March
