A clump-forming perennial which has erect stems, and lance-shaped, mid-green leaves. Deep lavender-blue flowerheads are borne from July to October

Grow in well-cultivated, fertile, moist soil in sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 1m and a spread of 50cm.
