Description

Betula utilis var. jacquemontii ‘Moonbeam’

A slow growing, compact, rounded, tree with peeling white bark, and ovate, tapered, glossy, dark green leaves that turn yellow in autumn and yellow-brown male catkins in spring. Deciduous.

Grows in moist but well-drained soil in full sun or in dappled shade. It will reach an ultimate height of 10m and a spread of 6.5m.
