Viburnum opulus

Guelder Rose. A deciduous shrub of rounded habit which has maple-like dark green leaves which become purple-tinted in autumn; it bears flat, lacecap-like, terminal racemes, of tubular, white flowers, surrounded by showy, flat, white, ray-florets from May to June.

Grow in any moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height and spread of 4m.
