Description

Buddleja alternifolia

A deciduous shrub or small tree which has slender, arching shoots and alternate, lance-shaped, dark-green, occasionally silvery green leaves. Dense, rounded clusters, 4cm long, of intensely fragrant lilac flowers wreathe the branches of the previous year’s growth in early summer.

Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height and spread of 4m.
