Description
Camassia quamash
Synonym C. esculenta. A bulbous perennial which has linear leaves. Star-shaped vivid blue flower spikes are borne from May to June.
Grow in moist but well-drained, fertile, humus-rich soil in sun or partial shade. Do not allow the soil to become waterlogged. It will reach a height of 60cm and a spread of 10cm.
