Description

Chaenomeles x superba ‘Crimson n’ Gold’

A compact, spreading shrub of rounded habit with spiny, spreading branches and oval, mid-green leaves. Bears dark red flowers with golden yellow anthers in spring and summer which are followed by green fruits which when ripe turn yellow.

Grow in well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. A useful shrub for training against a wall. It will reach an ultimate height of 1.5m and a spread of 2m.
