Fennel may be grown as a herb for its attractive ferny foliage or as a vegetable for its swollen base and stem. With a multitude of uses, fennel can even be used as a compress for softening rough chapped hands, or for treating numerous ailments. Mentha viridis. Similar to spearmint, this mint has dark green, roughly oval shaped leaves, with serrated margins. Suitable for culinary use. Vigorous growth. Recommended for pot growing due to self seeding.

Melissa officinalis ‘Mandarine’. Introducing an alternative to the traditional Lemon Balm. This mint-like perennial has a five lobed dark green leaves which have pronounced mandarin orange scent. The leaves are often used for herbal teas, infusions, and pot pourri. Ideal in mixed containers as the plants have a trailing habit.
Grow in a sunny position. It will reach a height of 30cm with a mounding habit.
