An evergreen, vigorous climbing shrub with glossy, dark green leaves that remain attractive throughout the year. From early to mid-spring, masses of lightly fragrant flowers open pale pink from deeper pink buds before fading to almost white, creating a soft apple-blossom effect.
Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade with its roots kept cool. Ideal for covering walls, fences or pergolas. It will reach a height of 6–9m and a spread of 3–4m.
