Clematis cirrhosa var. purpurescens ‘Jingle Bells’
An early-flowering climber which has evergreen leaves slightly bronze beneath. Bears open, cup-shaped, white flowers either singly or in clusters, in late winter and early spring, followed by attractive seedheads.
Grow in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil in sun, with the roots and base of the plant in shade. It will reach a height of 2.5-3m and a spread of 1.5m.
