Clematis ‘Night Veil’ (Vt)

A late, small flowered, semi-woody climber. From July to September small, semi-nodding, deep reddish-purple flowers, more red at the central bars, with purple anthers are borne. As with most clematis of the viticella group it also shows good resistance to clematis wilt and is drought tolerant.

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil in sun, with the roots and base of the plant in shade. It will reach a height of 2.5m and a spread of 1.5m.
