Red-barked Dogwood. A vigorous, upright growing, deciduous shrub with striking scarlet-red winter stems. It has dark green leaves which turn orange-yellow in autumn. White flowers appear in late spring and early summer followed by white or tinged blue fruits.

Can be grown in a wide range of soil conditions and locations but to get the best colour out of the stems it is best grown in full sun. It will reach a height and spread of 1.8m.
