Crataegus persimilis ‘Prunifolia’

A thorny, rounded, deciduous tree which produces stout thorns and obovate, glossy, deep green leaves which turn orange and red in autumn. In early summer white flowers with pink anthers are borne which are followed in autumn by spherical, bright red fruit.

Grows in all soil as long as it’s not waterlogged, in sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 8m and a spread of 10m.
