Digitalis purpurea ‘Dalmation Purple’
Common Foxglove. A rosette forming perennial which has lance-shaped, toothed, glossy, dark green or sometimes white-woolly leaves. In early summer, racemes of deep lavender-purple bells, each spotted inside with maroon purple are borne on long spikes.
Grow in any soil apart from soils which are excessively wet or dry, prefers humus-rich soil in partial shade. It will reach a height of 60cm and a spread of 40cm.
