Doodia media

Rasp Fern. A tufted, evergreen to semi-evergreen fern with arching, rough leathery, dark green fronds which have a bronze flush when young. The colour of the stem is attractive, being a bright red when young.

Grow in moist, fertile, well-drained humus rich soil enriched with leaf mould or compost, in a shady or part-shaded site. It will reach a height of 40cm and spread of 1m.
