A vigorous, upright, clump-forming, deciduous perennial which has whorled, lance-shaped, toothed, dark green leaves. From July to August, domed clusters of tiny, fragrant, creamy-white flowers are borne.

Grow in moderately moist soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 2m and a spread of 1m.
