Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Mariesii Perfecta’

Synonym Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Blue Wave’. A rounded, deciduous shrub which has dark green leaves. From June to August it bears deep pink flowerheads on acid soils to deep blue flowerheads on alkaline soils with toothed sepals.

Grow in moist but well-drained humus-rich soil in a semi-shaded position. Protect from cold winds. It will reach a height of 2m and a spread of 2.5m.
