Kniphofia ‘Alcazar’

Red-hot Poker. A clump-forming, semi-evergreen perennial with long lance-shaped mid-green leaves. From June to September, on tall stout bronze-coloured stems, terminal spikes of orange-red buds open from the base upwards to reveal orange-yellow flowers.

Grow in deep, fertile, humus-rich soil, moist but well-drained soil, in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 1.2m and a spread of 60cm.
