Lysimachia atropurpurea ‘Beaujolais’
A compact, short-lived, clump-forming perennial with lance-shaped, wavy-edged, grey-green leaves, flushed purple in spring. From late spring into early autumn, dense, erect racemes of purpe-black buds opening to deep burgundy-red flowers are borne.
Grow in humus-rich, preferably moist but well-drained soil which does not dry out in summer, in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 60cm and a spread of 50cm.
