Chinese Silver Grass. A tall, elegant, clump-forming deciduous grass with arching, strap-like green leaves, often developing warm yellow or orange tints in autumn. From late summer into autumn, feathery plumes of silvery-pink to bronze flowers are borne high above the foliage, gradually fading to soft buff tones that persist well into winter.
Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 150-200cm and a spread of 100-120cm.
