Description
Oenothera lindheimeri
Synonym Gaura lindheimeri. A bushy, clump-forming perennial which has slender stems which bear spoon-shaped to lance-shaped, toothed leaves, 2.5-8cm long. From late Spring to early Autumn loose panicles up to 60cm long, of pinkish white buds, opening at dawn to whiter flowers 2.5cm across, fading to pink.
Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun, but drought and partial shade are tolerated. It will reach a height of up to 1.5m and a spread of 90cm.
