Pear ‘Black Worcester’
Cooker. A large sized pear which has dull green skin, almost entirely covered by brown russet, many fruits have a purplish flush which through the russet gives a black appearance. The creamy white flesh is sweet, juicy, and melting, with a good flavour. Its season of use is January to April. (16th Century). Flowering Group 4.
Containerised Trees are supplied from September to August. Bare Root Trees are supplied from November to March.
