A compact, mound-forming primrose with neat rosettes of semi-evergreen, ribbed leaves. Produces masses of brightly coloured flowers in a cheerful mixture of shades, each with a sunshine-yellow centre. Flowers are borne from November through the winter months until May, providing welcome colour even during cold, wet and snowy weather. Ideal for patio pots, containers, window boxes and the front of borders. Grow in sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. Hardy. Height and spread 10–15cm.
