Prunus japonica ‘Kanzan’
A tree with a vase-like habit when young, spreading wider with age, which has coppery-red foliage in spring which turns dark green, then gold, pink, or red in autumn. It bears large, showy double purplish-pink flowers in April and May. Deciduous.
Grow in moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height and spread of 10m.
