Prunus laurocerasus ‘Rotundifolia’
Laurel. Cherry Laurel. A vigorous, upright evergreen shrub which has glossy mid-green leaves. It bears fragrant white flowers in mid and late spring which are followed by conical, cherry-like red fruit which ripen to black.
Grow in moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. It will form a hedge from 1.2m tall or more and once established will have an average annual growth of 30cm.
