Tassel Cherry. An unusual tree which has an upright habit and a somewhat conical shape. Clusters of drooping pink-white flowers are borne in April.  The anthers of the flowers are unusual as they protrude beyond the petals, resembling tassels, this has given the tree it’s common name.

Grow in moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 5m and a spread of 3m.
