Bog Sage. An upright, clump-forming perennial which has slender, lance-shaped leaves that are bright green and slightly toothed along the edges. From July to October, sky blue flowers with a two-lipped, tubular shape, appear in loose, airy spikes on tall, slender stems.

Grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. It is especially well-suited to areas with consistently damp soil, such as near ponds or streams, but it can also tolerate drier conditions once established. It will reach a height of 1.2-1.5m and spread of 60-90cm.
