A compact, mat-forming, succulent, evergreen perennial which has long, dense rosettes of cylindrical, powdery silver-blue leaves and erect stems bearing pale orange leaves. From mid to late summer, flat cymes of star-shaped, cream to pale yellow flowers are borne.

Grow in poor, well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 5cm and a spread of 50cm.
